2. Get some Support – from your bra
The right fitting bra is key to your workout. Find one that suits the type of workout you will be doing, light, medium or high impact and provides the right level of support. Ensure the bra fits comfortably and don’t be afraid to try it out with a bit of jumping up and down in the changing room!
3. Choose appropriate footwear
There are many styles of trainers available and different styles suit different workouts and people. Your trainers need to be comfortable and supportive, when choosing your trainers consider what features you need (Do you have an arched or flat foot? Do you under-pronate or over-pronate?) It’s isn’t all about the look – trainers need to be practical!
4. Layer up
Fitness gear isn’t all about head-to-toe lycra. Layering a long tank over your sports bra or adding a zip jacket to your outfit can not only make you feel more comfortable and confident, it can be practical too. You will be glad of the layers you can peel off when sweating it out on the treadmill!
